Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Online Marketing, the Sr. Internet Analyst is responsible for preparing and interpreting internet performance data to provide decision support information for establishing market, source and site direction & strategies. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the success of internet programs, conversion & procide decision support data for maintaining existing campaigns and programs. This analyst will be responsible for aggregating data from multiple sources (i.e. Omniture, Google Analytics, internal data warehouse, external intelligence tools, etc) to summarize KPI trends and provide business recommendations. Leverage state-of-the-art data mining tools and prepare documentation for developed models and provide analysis support for business strategies. Job responsibilities: Utilize internet analysis tools and vendor resources to develop actionable strategies for acquiring new customers and growing current customer relationships. Perform analysis to identify cross selling opportunities, migration measurement, campaign targeting, what-if analysis and internet segmentation strategies.Work with 3rd parties companies to effectively drive solutions that are best for the Home Improvement business. Determine individual product and household profitability models based on web analytics. Work closely with Search Manager from a meta tagging and tracking tool position, as well as building our weekly and monthly search tracking reporting. Partner with SHS on integration of research systems (i.e. Monitored Reporting, Ominture, Google Analytics, etc). Aggregate internal and external data sources, create actionable trend information, and infuse the marketing team with actionable business intelligence information. Assist in the design and implementation of media tracking and reporting tools, including dashboards, metrics and management tools. As needed, compile, analyze, and distribute reports for team market review meetings such as market summary, gross close rate, and confirmation rate trends, by market, product and source. Work closely with IT team on integration of research software and building of tools and reporting. Perform timely ad hoc analytics projects to support business initiatives. Manage, reconcile, and update search goal plans and revenue by DMA and /or products level on an on-going basis. Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings while delivering informative, well-organized presentations. Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Understands how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other. Perform other duties as assigned. Set and exceed individual and team quarterly and annual goals for marketing performance, output, operational efficiencies, campaign optimization, and marketing process rigor. The incumbent maintains indirect responsibility for: Prepare reports and graphic illustrations of findings for presentations or departmental meetings and develop potential recommendations. Basic HTML code writing abilities to support IT needs. Basic understanding of front end and back end functionality of the web vital for the success of this position. Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years online analytics experience. Experience with query and/or cube based reporting. Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge. Excellent Analytical, Organizational and communication skills. Be able to establish own priorities and work well independently. Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Omniture required.
