The Interactive Business Development Director position is a leadership position for the Interactive Division, working to educate, develop, manage and sell the entire suite of online media products available from WBOC Interactive. Responsibilities: As a leader this position will manage the Interactive sales team, develop new sales packages and products, educate and support across all sales teams on emerging trends, create new online solutions-based products, visit clients and actively develop new business sources to drive new revenue at every possible juncture. Knowledge, Skills and Ability: The IBDD should be a dynamic leader in online sales and marketing as well as the inner workings of online media products. The best candidate is a professional with significant experience educating and selling all the ways in which the Web can work as a powerful marketing vehicle and have a successful, provable sales track record as proof. This person needs to be adept at working across multiple teams and a sixth sense about internal and external culture and is able to develop win/win solutions. Experience: Extensive. The optimal Interactive Business Development Director has significant experience in online (additional experience in traditional media sales preferred), knowledge of the current trends, has worked extensively to sell a full array of new media products, and brings solid relationships with them to the position. This person should be familiar with both sales organizations and advertising operations and the challenges inherent in both.
