This position plays a key role in creating scalable, repeatable processes and systems to enable standard measurement and reporting of marketing on a worldwide basis.

Core responsibilities: Measurement and Analytics: Develops/manages reporting processes and marketing dashboards: Includes the measurement of demand generation and web/online analytics. Responsible for consistency of metrics and overall data quality. Also conducts analysis of metrics, reporting against objectives and trends. Integration: Gather data on an ongoing basis from multiple sources, campaigns and databases and reports on marketing’s performance and contribution. Marketing Systems Infrastructure: Responsible for the successful implementation, management and day to day operation of various marketing technology platforms (eg Eloqua). Works with Sales Operations to insure marketing systems integrates and synchronizes well with CRM system, i.e. -- Salesforce.com. Data Management and Quality: Responsible for the management of the house list, data integrity and data synchronization between the marketing database and data maintained within the CRM System. Assists in procuring data, manages data rentals and ensures data maintained is segmentable for targeting purposes. Manages preferences, opt-out processes and bounce backs. Serves as the point person for maintaining the integrity of global marketing data. Global Marketing Process Management: Define and deliver company-wide processes and reporting for coordination and alignment across sales and marketing on a global basis. Budgeting and Planning: Serve as the process center for marketing to deliver consistency in budgeting process and reconciliation with actual spend in conjunction with Finance. Build Strong Virtual Team: This role works closely across numerous internal departments including Global Marketing teams (product marketing, regional marketing, field marketing, online marketing, marketing communications), Finance, IT, Sales Operations, and Business Operations.

Desired Background/Capabilities: Minimum 8-10+ years experience in Marketing Operations, Demand Gen/Lead Gen, Business Process Improvement, Reporting/Analysis and/or related roles within a technology company; Ability to develop processes leveraging both best practices (internal and external) and critical thinking as well as identify areas for process improvement; Comfort with from scratch project and process design; Willingness to execute detailed analysis with limited support resources; Ability to turn data into marketing intelligence & action-oriented analysis; Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while meeting deadlines; Demonstrated project team leadership skills including the ability to influence and build consensus across the organization; Experience in marketing planning and budgeting process execution and management; Superior communication and presentation skills; Skill and experience with deploying marketing/CRM and BI tools such as Salesforce.com, Eloqua, Business Objects and various other business intelligence/marketing resources management tools; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Math, Statistics or related field.
