We are currently seeking an Executive Director of Channel Distribution Strategy. The Executive Director of Channel Distribution Strategy is responsible for maximizing global CV generated from the Finance & Strategy Division’s proprietary insights by ensuring product design and final outputs are appropriately leveraged in all of the channels utilized by professionals in the Division’s market to consume information. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Define and maintain a product development process that yields multiple outputs designed for the channel through which they will be delivered, globally; Develop and manage a staged product development process that engages the market in the relevance and value of products across and beyond the development lifecycle; Execute and maintain competitive analysis for each distribution channel; Execute customer needs analysis for each channel; maintain a utilization and/or sales plan for each; Allocate product development resources across channels; adjust allocations per market response; Establish and enforce editorial standards for each channel; Identify new distribution channels and their attractiveness of the Finance & Strategy Division; Partner with Division leadership colleagues to set Division strategy and establish a research agenda, providing market feedback gathered through evaluation of end users’ behaviors with each channel. Qualifications: A successful candidate will possess: Willingness to work outside the strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide the highest level of customer/member service; Superior interpersonal skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to present self professionally and intelligently to internal clients/colleagues; Ability to present self professionally and intelligently to prospects/members; Ability to develop relationships with corporate executives; Strong analytic skill; Strong editing skills; Superior problem solving ability; Ability to analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data; High proficiency in distilling massive amounts of data; Intellectual curiosity and dedication to mastering complex terrain; Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines; Excellent organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skills; Ability to lead and manage large-scale projects; Demonstrated poise and grace under pressure; Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness; Ability to work independently and with a team; Superior judgment; Demonstrated leadership ability; Ability to build relationships and work well across functions; Ability to manage, coach, and motivate staff; MBA, JD, or other graduate degrees preferred; 10+ years experience in specific field/position/industry.
