Digital Marketing, which is part of the Brand Strategy, Acquisition and Digital Marketing team. The Digital Marketing team at Schwab develops and creates the prospect and client experience on Schwab.com and related websites. The team is directly aligned with Schwab’s executive management, fully integrated into all marketing arms at Schwab, client experience/product management, client marketing, pr, branch experience, data mining, analytics and finance. We strive to deliver breakthrough interactive experiences on Schwab.com that consumers find both practical and motivating, so that they better understand their investments, learn what to do next, and know how Schwab can help. Brief Description of Role: As part of Digital Marketing, this position will be responsible for developing and optimizing the effectiveness of key interactive content on Schwab.com. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating and executing content strategies, and possess demonstrated understanding of user experience design and web content best practices. The candidate must also have proven ability to effectively collaborate with partners across the Marketing organization, creative agency, web publishing and web analytics teams to implement interactive content based on client needs, business objectives and project requirements. As Digital Marketing Manager, you will: Manage the development and deployment of website content, working with strategy partners, product owners and creative agency to define the desired user experience based on consumer insights, business requirements and web best practices; Develop robust content for a key section of Schwab.com, including static and dynamic content, interactive tools and forms, social bookmarks and web distribution capabilities; Define and enable reporting requirements that measures content effectiveness and user behavior, working with web analytics partners; Manage implementation by working with the online publishing team in submitting, testing and approving web content before releasing to the public. This position reports to the Director of Digital Marketing, and will collaborate with a broad scope of business partners across the firm, including: Creative Services, Client Experience, Product Management, Brand, SEO consultants, web publishing, and web analytics. Technical/Functional Qualifications: 6+ years of experience, preferably 4+ years in developing interactive and web content for a major consumer brand; Demonstrated success in creating, executing and measuring robust online experiences; candidate will be asked to provide concrete examples of web content projects in which s/he coordinated the team from development through execution; Knowledge of web content, web design, usability principles and best practices to deliver an optimal user experience; Project management, relationship management, collaboration and communication skills; demonstrated ability to be effective in a highly matrixed/cross-functional environment, Familiarity with measuring user behavior using web analytics preferred, Familiarity with the brokerage industry a plus.
