We are seeking a new head of marketing to support a large and growing financial information and technology business. The primary responsibility is to oversee a 20-person staff and a healthy budget to manage all aspects of Capital IQ’s marketing and communication activities around the world. The right candidate must have an acute understanding of technology sales at financial institutions, and a demonstrable track record of managing successful marketing programs. Location: New York City. Core Skills: Understanding of enterprise technology sales at large financial firms and history of supporting a global sales force; Track record of managing staff and budgets, preferably with a global component; Demonstrable tactical experience in collateral development, direct marketing, thought leadership-based brand building, internal/external communication, events, sponsorships, advertising, and online marketing; Experience working with advertising, creative, research, and/or public relations agencies. Specific Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; Minimum 5 years of senior marketing experience.
